I love Sunsets! My kids know if there is a good sunset I'm going to take pictures. My favorites are over water or with mountains. Here are just a few of my favorites.... No filters, just plain old aim and click. Extra if you can name 1o of the locations these were taken...

In the Book of Mormon, chapter 8 of 1 Nephi we read of Lehi's dream of the Tree of Life. In the dream, the numerous groups of people commenced on their way to partake of the fruit of the Tree of Life. Of all these groups and individuals many made it to the the Tree of Life and partook of the fruit. The fruit represents the Love of God. But this group of people then split in two. Those who stayed with God and those who fell away. In verses 33 & 34 we learn why people fall away from God. It was because they were ashamed. Why were they ashamed? Because they "heeded" those who "did point the finger of scorn" at them. Those that did not fall away - they "heeded them not".
The Love of God or fruit must be continually consumed. It is not enough to eat and partake only once. We must focus on it and it alone, given no heed to what others think or say. It doesn't matter if we are not popular or in the majority. What matters is to stay with God. But the reality is our feelings for God and our appreciation for His love (the fruit) has a short shelf life. Like a sunset it is beautiful but will fade and be replaced by more darkness. Since our witness of Christ is has this short shelf life we must continue to give heed to God and stop heeding those who make us feel ashamed of Him and that we follow Him.
